My serious consideration of investing began through the books of great international investors.

Among them, I naturally came to empathize with the investment philosophies and methods of Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Li Lu, Mohnish Pabrai, and Guy Spier.

Their commonalities are concentrated investment, sole decision-making, and a contract structure where their interests are aligned with their clients'.

By minimizing the organization and operating as a sole proprietorship, regardless of the size of assets under management, one can escape the temptation of upfront basic fees from clients. This allows for independent, concentrated investing that overcomes volatility and maximizes returns, with interests perfectly aligned with the clients'.

I founded Noah Investment Management with the hope that there are people in Korea who share this investment philosophy and approach.

Before fully committing to investment activities, I gained broad experience in manufacturing, service, and finance industries through roles at LG Display, Hana Bank, LG Electronics, and by founding an IT service company. I graduated from Ajou University with degrees in Electronic Engineering and Media, and also from KAIST Graduate School of Business.

Through more than a decade of successful experiences and a journey of learning, I have deeply contemplated my investment philosophy, and that journey is still ongoing.
